Our Work

The Spero Foundation has had a busy first year. We participated in a number of fund-raising events to promote the Arcadia Methodist Hospital “The Year Beyond” program. This program is designed to offer support and services for those cancer survivors in the year beyond their treatment. The support includes exercise programs, a multi-lingual breast cancer support program, patient support kits, “Look Good Feel Better” enhancements, and all the personnel support that goes along with the programs. The financial support The Spero Foundation has given this year helped to purchase over 100 kits for cancer patients.

Second year partnered with LABEERWEEK to support them in their event and they generously donate to our organization

Sponsor first 2010 Sierra Madre Concert in the Park July 11, selling $1 tacos, cookies, ice Cream and drinks, profit will be rewarded to Methodist Hospital’s “Year Beyond” program

Partnered with John Knowles in his Thanksgiving and Christmas Dinner distribution, contributing monetary and physical support to deliver dinners in our surrounding communities.
